The APAC and EMEA businesses of Armstrong Ceiling Solutions, a leader in commercial ceilings, suspension systems and wall solutions, has been acquired by Knauf Gips KG – a global manufacturer of lightweight building products and systems.
With over 220 production facilities in more than 86 countries, Knauf Gips KG is one of the leading manufacturers of modern building materials made of gypsum, acoustic ceilings, insulation materials, moulded parts, packaging and construction equipment.
Armstrong’s current portfolio spans a myriad of multi material ceiling and wall system solutions for the office, education, healthcare, retail and transport sectors, offering functional, sustainable and contemporary solutions that enhance the customer experience and turn project design intent into solutions. In APAC Armstrong Ceiling Solutions is the leader in all key markets in acoustical modular ceilings and has rapidly expanded into metal, wood and alternative materials.
On October 2019, Knauf Gips KG (with its brand, Knauf AMF) and Armstrong Ceiling Solutions joined forces, establishing the newly formed Knauf Ceiling Solutions division, providing the business with an opportunity to strengthen its presence even further in APAC region and expand its ceiling solution portfolio for customers throughout the region.
